I’m so excited about all of you! You have a power and a spark that if tapped into will change the world. There is so much I’d love to say to you all, but for now I’ll tell you a story or two. After you’ve heard the stories, maybe we can talk more about YOU!
Update
As I write my books and wait for the ones already written to make their way into the world, I’ve committed myself to reading one Young Adult novel a week. I’m going to share my reading list here and update as I go. I’ll also rate them using a five star system (five means I couldn’t put it down and it moved me emotionally, one star means I could hardly get through it).
Recent reads:
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak 2006 (5 stars)
Pure by Julianna Baggot 2012 (5 stars)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins 2008 (5 stars)
Kingdom Keepers Disney After Dark by Ridley Pearson 2005 (3.5 stars)
Tears of a Tiger by Sharon Draper 1996 (3 stars)
The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan 2008 (3.5 stars for the writing but it took me two weeks to read b/c it just wasn’t my thing)
